The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (IC-VCM) is a non-profit standards body focusing on the supply side of the voluntary carbon market (VCM).

The IC-VCM was set up in 2021 as the successor of the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets and aims to set and maintain a global standard for high integrity in the VCM. It engages with stakeholders in the market to with the aim of allowing carbon programs and projects to increase their ambition over time.

In 2023 IC-VCM launched its Core Carbon Principles (CCPs), ten principles to identify high-quality carbon projects that create real and verifiable carbon impact. Projects that meet the principles will be eligible for a CCP label.
